Community Organising for Rural Upliftment Society (CORUS) is a voluntary Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). It’s mainly working for the upliftment and development of rural and semi-urban in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh, India.  CORUS was registered under the Societies Registration Act XXXV of 2001(under XXI of 1860), vide Registered No.736 of 2003, Registered under Income Tax Exemption Section 12A(a) and, it is also registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976 by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi.  Since its inception in the year 2003, we have been assisting Women, Children, Adolescent Girls, Youth, Disabled, Orphans, Oldage in particular and all the needy people in the community.  Over the years, we have made some progress towards the empowerment of poor, Dalits and marginalized sections of the Society, bringing equity and development in our operational area with the support of committed Executive Committee members and dedicated staff, volunteers and social workers.
